The Web Marketing Association have announced the winners of the 2010 prestigious web awards and the new OCS UK website has received a ‘Standard of Excellence’ rated by the association as ‘the standard for which all websites should strive’.
Each site is evaluated by three or more expert judges on seven different criteria including innovation, design, interactivity, content, ease of use, technology and copywriting. The OCS UK site scored 22% higher than the average B2B website and 12% higher than the average website across all 86 categories.
Commenting on the award Audrey Clark, Marketing Manager said, “It’s really positive that the new OCS website has received this industry recognition which confirms that the new website is of the highest quality in the marketplace today. We worked very closely with digital marketing specialists Fat Media to create and develop a very professional easy to use site and I’m delighted that we achieved our objective.”
The new OCS Group UK website was designed to showcase the wide range of services OCS offers to businesses across multiple UK market sectors and benefits from an editable homepage promotions area to highlight current key messages via images, text and video. The sites page friendly URLs, unique meta content, alt tags and keyword rich copy have dramatically improved search engine results and the website now boasts over 20,000 unique visits per month and 70% increase in sales enquiries.
