OCS Launches New Profit Protection Scheme
The new Profit Protection service from OCS covers a vast range of offerings designed to support retailers, where they lack skills, experience or resource or where there is no existing function of this kind. Each offering can be tailored to suit the individual retailer’s specification and adds bottom line value by safeguarding the people, assets and profitability of their business whilst promoting efficiencies in systems and procedures.
The first ‘Systems and Procedural Management’ offering typically consists of a full or targeted review of a retailer’s systems and procedures, coupled with a full assessment and recommendations for significant improvement. This takes the form of a detailed action plan. OCS can support the implementation of these recommendations as well as developing those charged with delivering them.
Stock Management is core to OCS’ retail service and the new ‘Extended Stock Management’ offering further supports the retailer in understanding the causes of their shrinkage. Full analysis of loss and inventory corruption issues and a thorough review of all stock management processes highlight process weaknesses and compliance issues. This is once again backed up by a full action plan. To further complement this service, the OCS team offers stock loss awareness training.
The retail support team’s ‘Theft and Fraud Control’ service aims to tackle issues of internal and external crime through high investigation standards. OCS offers a full end-to-end investigation service and full premises security review with a full improvement action plan.
