19th Mar 2015

International total facilities management provider OCS has been awarded a contract to provide cleaning services to Helm Housing and Choice Housing Ireland Limited, currently trading as OakleeTrinity. Starting in February 2015, and spanning the whole of Northern Ireland, the contract will cover the organisations’ head offices and over 250 social housing schemes. Helm Housing and Choice work together to respond to housing need and to lead changes in the social housing environment.

Paul Isherwood, Director of Property Services at Helm Housing, said: “Helm Housing is committed to ensuring that our tenants enjoy the highest possible standard of support services. A vital part of this work is ensuring that communal areas of our housing schemes are kept clean, and the partnership with Choice and OCS will help us deliver on this commitment.”

Jane Sheard OCS CEO UK Facilities Services said: “Working in partnership with Helm Housing and Choice, we aim to rationalise the communal cleaning to provide an enhanced service and to support the organisations in achieving their goal of continuously improved customer care.”

The OCS service will include cleaning of housing scheme communal areas such as entrances, hallways, lifts, driveways and paths, offices, and car parks.
