OCS Environmental Services has achieved accreditation at Premier Level from Green Accord. Green Accord is a proven environmental accreditation which provides evidence of an organisation’s level of commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, and Premier is the highest level attainable.
Green Accord helps organisations to ensure that their operations, supply chain, and procurement meet the environmental standards expected in today’s eco-conscious marketplace. The accreditation demonstrates best practice, and promotes the reduction of environmental impact, by assessing core environmental competencies, such as environmental management systems, employee training, the storage, segregation, recycling, and monitoring of waste, and the minimisation of energy, water, and fuel consumption.
Supported by the University of Exeter’s expertise in climate change and sustainability and endorsed by the Audit Commission, Green Accord will further enable OCS Environmental Services to demonstrate its commitment to the principles of sustainability to future customers.
