OCS compliance services have been recognised and approved by a number of industry regulators and professional bodies.

NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. Choosing an NICEIC Approved Contractor is the best way to ensure a safe and compliant installation. Approved Contractors registered with NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure they maintain their high standards and compliance to the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671 Approved Contractor Logo
NICEIC Hazardous Area Scheme (Fuel Stations) The electrical inspection and testing of fuel stations’ hazardous areas are not included within the standard Approved Contractor Scheme. Using the OCS Fuel Station Compliance Service ensures qualified Compex Electrical Engineers complete all maintenance and testing in hazardous areas and ensures clients the same NICEIC’s Guarantee of Standards Scheme.

Constructionline is the Government’s national register for suppliers. Constructionline provides a pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references and other areas. Construction Line works jointly with CHAS. Constructionline Logo
CHAS was established in 1997 by a group of health and safety and procurement professionals to provide health and safety pre-qualification in the UK

Participating in the CHAS scheme helps us:

  • Show compliance with important parts of health and safety law
  • To demonstrate we are approved to work for all of CHAS’ buyers
  • Reduce inconsistencies where some suppliers may be judged compliant by one buyer and not by another
  • To save our clients both time and resources

Following agreement by the then Department of Trade and Industry, CHAS and Constructionline formed a "mutual working agreement. Both CHAS and Constructionline have their own independence and identity but their schemes are linked.

Safe Contractor was formed in 1999 as SupplyLine and, after further development was rebranded in 2003 as SAFE Contractor. SAFE Contractor enables us to demonstrate that we comply with the standardised systems for Health and Safety and many large organisations use its membership as a way of obtaining competent contractors.
